Athena's Alterations is a home-based seamstress studio in Bradford, Ontario. With years of hands-on experience, I personally handle every garment myself — from a straightforward hem to a full gown fitting.
Alterations and repairs are done by hand in my small home studio. You deal with me directly from start to finish, so your clothes get the attention they deserve and nothing gets lost in a busy shop.
Whether you need something taken in, let out, shortened, or repaired, I take my time with each piece so it fits you properly and holds up to everyday wear.
I welcome most everyday and special-occasion clothing for alterations and repairs — dresses, pants, skirts, shirts, and gowns.
Common jobs include hems, waist and side-seam adjustments, zipper replacements, button repairs, and dress fittings for weddings, proms, and other events. Everything is done by hand in my home studio, one garment at a time.
I do not accept leather jackets, heavy coats (including fur), or suits. If you are unsure whether your item is a fit, please reach out and I will be happy to advise.
